LooCee's DJ career started with a dare. In 2022, at Glastonbury's Greenpeace stage, she was challenged to learn to DJ. By that October she was telling the story live on BBC 6Music as Lauren Laverne's Desert Island Disco guest. The following summer she was back at Glastonbury with two sets, one on the Greenpeace stage and one at Tow and Hitch, Arcadia's crew bar, where she'd been picked through an open call. Lauren had her in the BBC 6Music studio backstage for a live interview between the two.
In February 2026 she launched her own night, Looped, at Henge in Brixton. That summer she was one of the DJs selected from thousands of applicants to play Funk My Life's Ibiza events, after the promoter heard her at The Art of House, and played Wi-Ki-Woo and Itaca in the same week. She's resident at Sisters of Sound, plays regularly for Art of House, took over the decks from Mark Doyle at the Hedkandi afterparty for The Art of House at Network, and plays a long run of Sheffield venues including Hagglers Corner, Network, Yellow Arch Studios and Stag Works.
Her sets move between funky house, nu disco and tech house, built for dancefloors that want groove and warmth as much as energy. On 6 November 2026 she plays La Rumba's Room 2 takeover at Fever 105, Electric Studios, the old Leadmill, on a bill headlined by Dan Shake, Horse Meat Disco, MiNNA and Theon Bower.
LooCee is a Sheffield DJ playing funky house, nu disco and tech house. Looped is LooCee's own night. It launched at Henge in Brixton on 20 February 2026, with LooCee and LadyShift playing tech, house, acid, nu disco and electro.
A Sheffield edition followed at Hagglers Corner in August 2026, and the next Looped is planned for February 2027.
