In 2022, someone at Glastonbury dared me to learn to DJ. That October I told the story live on BBC 6Music as Lauren Laverne's Desert Island Disco guest, and by 2023 I was playing the Greenpeace stage and back with Lauren in the 6Music studio at Glastonbury, live on air between my two sets.
I'm Lucy, a Sheffield DJ, resident at Sisters of Sound and a regular at Art of House. My sets mix funky house, nu disco and tech house at bars, clubs and festivals, to whatever gets your crowd moving at private events, where I read rooms, not playlists.
Fully insured with £1m Professional Indemnity and £5m Public Liability insurance.
Clips from 2023 to 2025, from Glastonbury to clubs and bars in Sheffield and beyond.
Beyond the decks, I'm a role model for Women in Engineering, Science and Technology (WEST), a charity that encourages girls into careers traditionally dominated by men. I feature in their Exciting Jobs for Girls series on sound-based careers and on their Yes We Can posters for schools.
